A humorous and whimsical charm, we love this little piece of history! Though not often used anymore, the term "mad money" was coined in the 1920s, and referred to the small amount of cash a woman ought to have on her at all times - whether as her fare home in case she gets in a fight with her date, or as a little fun spending money should something special catch her eye! This style of charm was especially popular in the midcentury through the charm craze, but this piece remains in great condition.
While the single pound note tucked in may not get you very far on your route home anymore, we sure think this cute little gold charm is worthy reminder to keep a little something tucked aside for yourself.
Good vintage condition with reasonable wear.
