A plump little version of one of our favourite styles of charm, a gold framed hourglass with white sand that slips through a tightly pinched waist.

The hourglass motif was occasionally used in antique memento mori ("remember you must die") pieces as a reminder of the fleeting nature of life, but we love it now as a reminder that it's okay to pause now and then and step back from the rapid pace of everyday life.

Very good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear.
