A stunning and unique ring from the early 20th century, a vivid blue sapphire sits flanked by diamonds set at north, east, south, and west and all together framed by bifurcated shoulders. The shape of the band and shoulders draws the eye in and creates a shape not unlike a protective eye - combined with the cardinal points of the diamonds, this ring makes us feel as though it guides and protects while watching over us.

Very good antique condition with moderate wear. Appears to be a stick pin conversion, with an 18k head on a later 9k band.

• Size 8.25 and can be resized within to sizes either direction
• One oval cut natural sapphire approximately 4.5 x 3.7mm, four old cut diamonds approximately 0.16 carat total weight
• Face of ring measures 10mm wide, 9.2mm across, with a rise of 4mm; back of band measures 2.3mm wide and 1.4mm thick
