This stunning late Victorian ring is elegant and refined in design but the lively hue of the central ruby catches the eye and adds a great depth of interest. The vivid, pillowy stone is flanked by chunky old diamonds - the three stone design is not only pleasing to the eye in its symmetry, but has long been used as a symbol to represent past, present and future. • One cushion cut natural ruby approximately 0.54 carat; two old mine cut diamonds approximately 0.20 carat total weight (please note all three stones have surface-reaching inclusions)
• Face of ring measures 6.7mm wide, 9.3mm across, with a rise of 2.6mm; back of band measures 1.1mm wide and 0.6mm thick
