Vivid Vintage Amethyst Band Ring

A rich, luscious amethyst ring that will make you understand why the colour purple has been long been associated with royalty (well, it's actually to do with the high cost of producing violet pigments, but that's a whole other story and a fantastic piece written by Kassia St Clair). Amethyst - a purple variety of one of Earth's most common minerals, quartz - has captivated for thousands of years and it's easy to get lost in the deep colour of these vivid stones. A sleek demi-bezel setting lends a modern look to an ancient stone, and makes this a super wearable and comfortable piece.

Good vintage condition with moderate wear, including very subtle evidence of past resizing, and a chip on the centre stone between the table and girdle (macro photos used to show this as clearly as possible, but it's not noticeable when worn - please don't hesitate to reach out for more photos or videos if needed).
