A beautiful band adorned with subtle symbolism, this ring features alternating panels engraved with ivy leaves and bursts of rays. Ivy, an evergreen plant, is understandably associated with everlasting love, devotion, and friendship - feelings that stay true just as the leaves hold their colour. Further, the nature of the plant as it climbs and clings lends itself to symbolism of tight, unbreakable bonds.

Very good antique condition with wear in line with age and use. c1901. Originally manufactured in the UK.
